David Clark Construction

Since 1942, the Clarks have developed a reputation as one of the premier builders of quality homes in the Memphis area. The family tradition began when John C. Clark, Jr. began building homes. Following suit, his two sons, John and Charles, entered the homebuilding business in 1971. At age 12, David began sweeping out the houses they were building and learned the business. He graduated from Houston High School in Memphis and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama where he earned a degree in Business Management and a minor in Computer Science. Shortly after graduation, David began working as a superintendent for Clark Homes full time. After working there for a few years, David started his own company to be the third generation of Clarks to enter the business.

David Clark Construction was a Vesta Home Show participant and winner in 2007.  Numerous awards won include Best in Show and People’s Choice awards.   We are currently building in Germantown and Collierville.

David is also involved with the Memphis Area Home Builders Association where he currently serves as First Vice President and also Membership Chairman of the Home Builders Association of Tennessee.
